![]() ![]() Dake ended his relationship with the Assembly of God in 1937, and joined the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee). While in Zion his church purchased the home place of John Alexander Dowie, and established Shiloh Bible Institute which eventually merged with Central Bible Institute. Dake accepted the pastorate of Christian Assembly in Zion Illinois in 1932. From 1928 – 1931 he lived in Oklahoma and spent time evangelizing. In the mid 1920’s he attended Central Bible Institute while at the same time, pastoring several churches.
